Road Noise Management

Reduce road noise and engine harmonics thanks to adaptive algorithms

Silence, engineered into the drive

Road Noise Management is designed to address the full range of in-cabin noise challenges across all vehicle types.

Arkamys’ 100% software solution provides a modular and scalable approach to reducing unwanted noise while enhancing overall acoustic comfort.

By improving cabin quietness, it supports driver attention and preserves the clarity of media listening throughout the drive.

RNC for all vehicle types

Road Noise Cancellation (RNC) reduces rolling and structural noise across electric, hybrid, and combustion vehicles. By capturing and analyzing in-cabin noise, it generates adaptive anti-noise signals in real time, improving cabin comfort across all driving conditions, except when the vehicle is stationary.

ENC across powertrains

Engine Noise Cancellation (ENC), also referred to as Engine-ANC, reduces powertrain harmonics across hybrid and combustion vehicles by generating precise anti-noise signals. It operates using standard speakers and hands-free microphones, and is already used in production with Renault Korea.

Active noise control in 3 steps

RNC and ENC operate through a structured process: capturing in-cabin noise, analyzing target components, and generating anti-noise signals to reduce unwanted sound, ensuring consistent acoustic comfort across varying driving conditions.

Adaptive real-time algorithms

Arkamys’ algorithms continuously adapt to road noise, engine harmonics, HVAC systems, and structural vibrations, generating anti-noise profiles in real time to maintain efficient and stable noise reduction.

From mainstream to premium setups

Road Noise Management delivers strong performance using existing microphones and speakers, without additional DSP or dedicated hardware. It also scales to premium configurations with accelerometers or sound-enhanced headrests for improved performance.
